Final Round
Art Battle, (winner) February 17th - 2026
At the Art Battle on February 17th, I had some new ideas I was eager to try. This time I painted two different styles, one very painterly depicting a woman in flowers, the other very expressive and abstract, with high contrast and bold colours. I felt very honoured to be voted the winner in the final round and secure my spot in this years city championships.

Art Battle, MASTERS EVENT October 21st - 2025
Art Battle Masters was a brand new experience. This special event brought together six of Toronto’s best painters. The rules were changed, to one round one painting, half the number of artists, triple the painting time, and double the cash prize. I was truly honoured to be invited and had an incredible time painting at the event.

First Round

Art Battle, Toronto City Championships 2025
During the 2025 Art Battle City Championships, I was proud to be one of the top four finalists in the second round. Unlike usual rounds, we were given larger canvases and extended to 30 minutes to complete our pieces. For the competition, I painted a portrait of a woman holding a red umbrella alongside a reflective swan landscape.

Final Round
Art Battle, (Winner) April 22nd - 2025
At the Art Battle event on April 22nd, I advanced to the final round after completing my painting of a woman walking in the rain. I dedicated significant practice to my approach for the second round with my "Flower Vase" idea. The painting I created during the competition exceeded all previous attempts, and I was honoured to be voted the winner in the final round.

First Round
Art Battle, Winter Event December 17th - 2024
The Artbattle December winter event was a lot of fun! This time I decided to mix it up and try painting some landscapes instead of figures or portraits. In round one, I painted a purple snowy sunset cabin by the river, and in round two a bright yellow winter sunrise glowing through the trees.

Final Round
Art Battle, October
22nd - 2024
At the Art Battle on October 22nd, I set out to approach my work differently by first sketching my ideas. Inspired by fellow competitors who had successfully used markers in previous events, I embraced a spontaneous scribbled Sharpie technique. This led to the creation of two vibrant portraits, each utilizing a limited but striking colour palette.

Art Battle, Toronto City Championships 2024
During the 2024 Art Battle City Championships, I was proud to be one of the top four finalists. We were given larger canvases and 30 minutes to complete our pieces. This time I wanted to focus on highlighting colour and contrast. So I painted a figurative portrait of a woman with gold and a bold portrait using thick orange and blue paint.

First Round

Art Battle, April
24th- 2024
Every time I compete at Art Battle, I make a point to challenge myself by experimenting with new ideas and techniques. For the April 24th event, I stepped outside my comfort zone by creating a painting of a woman in red and an emotional portrait, both approached with a deliberately loose and abstract style.
